5 LAB PUPPIES FROM LOUISIANA ARRIVED AT THE BEDFORD COUNTY HUMAN SOCIETY THIS WEEKEND. THEY were supposed to be put down on Friday AFTER BEING found LIVING in a drainage pipe. there were 6 TO START WITH, but the family that found them kept one. PILOT Jeff Luizza VOLUNTEERED TO FLY THE PUPPIES UP TO BEDFORD AND THEY ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION.
 
The bald eagle population in Pennsylvania is on the rise and THE Game Commission’s Bureau of Wildlife Management is recommending the BIRD be upgraded from “threatened” to “protected” status.  There are now 266 nesting pairs of bald eagles statewide, which is up from 237 pairs in 2012. 

AND 14 year old katelyn richards of tyrone organized a motorcycle ride this saturday to raise money for the family of 7 year old cancer patient abigail boyer of warriors mark. about 40 riders participated. katelyn’s mom says she also rings the salvation army bell at christmas time…volunteers at the joshua house in tyrone…the tyrone food bank…and grace baptist church.
