In June, 61 Clearfield seniors lost their home when Colonial Courtyard burned. Luckily no one was injured. now, the employees and the non-profit group Twilight Eve will hold a 5K run/walk to benefit the victims. It’s set for this Friday. Registration at 5:30 and the race at 6:30.

jason ripley of Johnstown is a hero. when a fire broke out recently at a cambria city house, he ran inside twice to rescue 3 sleeping children. the kids’ dad also helped.

for years, Bellwood kindergarten teacher Pete Harry has been making instructional videos for young students across the country. His YouTube page has over 45 million views and 5 year old chloe OLSON OF NEW JERSEY HAD SEEN THE video On how to call 911 if someone is choking. When her mom choked on a potato chip RECENTLY, chloe dialed 911, actually thinking she was calling her daddy. Her mom was no longer choking by the time emt’s arrived and she’s fine.

and hats off to the 500 riders who participated in “bike m-s” this saturday and sunday. they raised almost 450-thousand dollars!
