Here's my interview with Sgt. Sean Hook of Altoona about his participation in the Warrior Games. Sgt. Hook was hit by two improvised explosive devices on two separate occasions during his deployment in Iraq. He suffered substantial injuries to his shoulder and a traumatic brain injury. Sgt. Hook is overcoming his injuries with his sports training in archery, track and field and sitting volleyball. He has competed in the Warrior Games the past two years and reached his goal of medaling this year! Sgt. Hook hopes to help other soldiers interested in participating in and training for adaptive sports. He can be reached through the Advocate at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center in Altoona. Thank you, Sgt. Hook, for speaking with me this past week!
