My oldest daughter wanted a Hunger Games t-shirt. Problem is, she doesn't have a job, she's 8. So I told her she could do some work around the house for it. She heard me talking about getting the grass cut sometime soon. Sunday evening, I noticed she went out the back door with a pair of scissors. 10 minutes later she called me outside to see the grass she had cut using scissors. I smiled and said God Bless you child. She's learned her first of many financial lessons from dad.
