Women's Rights History and Wine Tasting


WISE Women of Blair County is sponsoring a bus trip to the beautiful Finger Lakes area of New York state.  Proceeds will benefit counseling for survivors of sexual assault or domestic violence through Family Services Incorporated.  The trip will depart from Altoona at 7:30am on Friday, October 25 and return in the early evening of Sunday, October 27.


Sites visited will include several facilities of the Women's Rights National Historical Park (Visitor Center, Wesleyan Chapel, Elizabeth Cady Stanton house and M'Clintock house), the National Women's Hall of Fame, Susan B. Anthony house, Harriet Tubman home and the Seneca Falls Historical Society.  Wine tastings will be at the Wagner Vineyards and the Montezuma Winery.


The per person price includes bus fare (Raystown Transit Service), hotel room for two nights, admission to all scheduled locations including wine tastings and lunches on Friday and Sunday. LIMITED SPACE, please book immediately. Deposit due to confirm reservation.
