The officers and members of the Pleasant Gap Fire Company would like to invite you to attend an Open House on Saturday, October 13 from 12 noon until 4 pm. This event is open to the public.

All events will be held at the Pleasant Gap Emergency Services Building, 475 Robinson Lane in Pleasant Gap. Scheduled events include Fire Safety Education, tours of the station and bucket rides in an aerial apparatus (courtesy of our friends at Alpha Fire Company). Life Flight is scheduled to have one of their helicopters on scene and available for tours starting at 1 pm.

The highlight of the event will be the housing of our newest apparatus, Engine/Rescue 814 in a traditional fire service wetdown and housing ceremony at 3 pm.

Engine/Rescue 814 is a 2012 Pierce Arrow XT PUC Pumper. For more info about 814, please see http://fire8.com/wp/2012/06/08/the-new-814-has-arrived/ and http://fire8.com/wp/2012/05/28/the-new-enginerescue-814-is-on-its-way/. This new apparatus will be on display for the duration of the open house.
