“GMOs: The Good, The Bad and The Nobody Knows” is a program for everyone who eats. Presented by three Master Gardeners, Jacquelyn Forsht, Teresa Futrick and Robert Rhodes, this presentation gives a brief history of the development and use of GMOs(genetically modified organisms)and their role in the food products of today and a look into the future.
This program will be held on October 16, 2013 at 6:30 PM at the C4C (care for creation) Center, 793 Monastery Road, Hollidaysburg and is the first of three presentations in October. They are free to the public and are sponsored by the Franciscan Friars of Saint Bernardine’s Monastery as part of their Care for Creation Initiative.
