The Last "Polar Bear Express" Night Trolley Rides of the season at the Rockhill Trolley Museum are going on this Friday & Saturday, December 7 and 8! The standard gauge, antique trolleys will take you through the lights along the way on the Shade Gap Branch of the East Broad Top Railroad. Even the old Rockhill Iron Furnace will be included in the light show. Going towards the Blacklog Narrows, this year for the first time, the trolleys will stop at Altoff Siding where passengers get off, enjoy a nice, warm campfire and receive a FREE hot chocolate and cookies for all. Come dressed for the season! We have our popular Open 1875 Car from Rio de Janeiro as well as our other closed and heated cars to choose from. Caroling and story telling are encouraged! We are all volunteers from all over the state and country and we love to serve you, so ask questions, join in the conversation...and enjoy the enchanting ride through the lights and countryside.
We are a 501(c)(3) all volunteer, non-profit, educational organization, supported by riders, members and donors. You are welcome to join us in any way you can! Tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for children 3 through 12 and FREE for children 2 and under. Want to operate a real, antique trolley? "Run-A-Trolley" gift certificates and memberships are also great holiday gifts for anyone!
Please find an attachment of our Polar Bear Express/Santa's Trolley flyer for reference. Attached in a separate email, I will forward some photos from last weekend's events, if you would like to use any new photos.
