Huntingdon County Community Cares is holding a benefit for a local family. George and Samantha Boyd and their 3 children, Alex, Max and Isabelle. It will be held October 18, 19, 20 at Captain Jack’s Lion’s Park in Mill Creek PA. The hours for the event are Friday and Saturday 8 am to 8 pm, Sunday 12-5. Alex and Isabelle have MPSIIIB, a fatal disease. It is also called Sanfolippo Syndrome.
It will be a weekend full of family activities. Friday will be craft/food vendors, kids crafts, story time, juggler and Karoke. Saturday there will be food/craft vendors, Motorcycle Poker run, Car Show, face painting, kids crafts, petting zoo/pony rides, story time, and entertainment (James Mosey; Elaini Arthur; Music, Music, Music; Dan & Galla; Luke Pfister). Sunday will be food/craft vendors, face painting, story time, kids crafts, 3 legged race, free throw basketball tournament, entertainment (Miller & Strait) and a Talent Show.
We are still looking for Volunteers, vendors, cars for the car show, entrants for the talent show and bikers for the motorcycle run
