Dr. David Miller was a family practice physician who died November 2, 2007, at the age of 62.  He was an avid runner and a big fan of Huntingdon Bearcat athletics and the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins.

Dr. Miller is remembered for his caring ways, his enthusiasm for life and learning, his passion for sports and the outdoors, and his warmth of spirit.  The memorial run has been a great way for those who loved him to get together and celebrate his life in a way he would have appreciated--going for a run with friends and family on the streets he used to jog himself.

Corporate sponsorships for the Dr. Miller Memorial Run/Walk are available at the following levels:  Presenting Sponsor at $1000, Gold Medal Sponsor at $500, Silver Medal Sponsor at $250, and Bronze Medal Sponsor at $100. All sponsors will be recognized on participants’ t-shirts. All proceeds raised from this event will benefit the Dr. David Miller Memorial Fund of the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Registration for 5K participants is just $20 if registration is received by April 12. For a registration form/event brochure or more information about the Dr. Miller Memorial Run and Walk, call (814) 643-8548 or go to .
